When your pet needs medical care, yet is not quite an emergency, we are here for those in-between times when your pet can’t wait to see their primary care veterinarian. We aim to provide the immediate care your pet needs, while avoiding lengthy and costly ER visits.
We treat many conditions at Vida Vet, including (but not limited to) the following:
Lacerations, burns or wounds
Abscesses
Skin or nail problems
Allergic reactions
Fevers
Limping/Lameness
Vomiting
Diarrhea
Coughing/Sneezing
Eye problems
Ear infections
Urinary issues/UTIs
Male cats straining to urinate (urinary obstructions)
Constipation
Pain/Discomfort
Lethargy
Decreased appetite/Inappetence
Toxins
Seizures
Dehydration
Abnormal behavior/Seeming "off"
End of life care (euthanasia)
Please note that Vida Veterinary Urgent Care will NOT authorize medication refill requests. Continued management of your pets' condition should be managed with their primary care veterinarian. If your pet is in need of additional care that is unable to be scheduled with their primary care veterinarian, an additional office visit will be required for any medications to be dispensed.
What to expect during your visit
Select an arrival time on our website or call us to allow us to prepare for your pet’s visit. Walk-in arrivals are accepted up until an hour prior to closing time but may result in longer wait times.
Upon arrival, your pet will be immediately assessed to determine if they are stable.
A veterinarian will perform an examination of your pet and will then provide you with an estimate for anticipated diagnostics and treatment.
If the estimate is agreed upon, we will perform and administer necessary diagnostics/treatments.
In some instances, we may advise you to take your pet to a local emergency hospital and will help facilitate this transition.

Our Veterinary Care: we are here to help
Our team of skilled professionals are here to provide urgent care needs for your pet. We do not offer primary care services and are unable to offer overnight ICU care. Instead, we are here to bridge the gap for pets’ needs to assist the busy pet emergency rooms and local family veterinary practices.
