Essence is a native of New York and has always dreamed of working with animals. In high school, she made the decision to go to school to become a licensed veterinary technician (LVT). She became licensed in 2018 and jumped right into practice completing her internship at Windcrest Animal Hospital before moving into general practice. Essence has always felt drawn to emergency medicine, though, and was happy to join the care team at VidaVet Urgent Care. When she is not working, she enjoys reading, playing video games and spending time with her two dogs Rocky and Ginger.
