Melanie was born & raised in Delaware. She always had a desire to work in the medical field. After attending a vocational high school majoring in Nursing, she decided animals were better suited for her love of medicine. Melanie worked at a major credit card bank for a few years before getting her start in Veterinary Medicine as a client services representative. While being cross trained on the job, she fell in love with being an assistant. Melanie has over 20 years experience as an assistant in a general practice setting.
Melanie married her husband, Kevin, in 2005. Since then, they have welcomed several pets into their home, including their current pets (3 dogs) Jester (pictured), Spike, & Styles, (2 cats) Sabrina & Salem. They also have 3 children. In her free time, she loves to travel (cruises are her favorite), read, and cook. She’s a huge fan of Disney, Harry Potter, English Bulldogs, and her favorite colors are pink & glitter!
